Ovifresh Shipping Policy
At Ovifresh, we are committed to delivering the freshest products to your doorstep across India. We understand the importance of timely and careful delivery, especially for perishable goods. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand our procedures and your expectations.
1. Order Processing Time
- All orders placed on the Ovifresh website are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays).
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST will be processed on the next business day.
- You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is successfully placed.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates
We partner with reliable courier services to ensure your Ovifresh products reach you in optimal condition. Our primary shipping method is Standard Shipping.
- Standard Shipping:
- Estimated Delivery Time: 3-7 business days from the date of dispatch.
- Delivery Areas: We deliver across most PIN codes in India. You can check pincode serviceability at the checkout page.
- Perishables: For highly perishable items, we may use specialized cold chain logistics where available to ensure freshness. Delivery times for these items may vary slightly and will be communicated at the time of order or via a separate notification.
- Expedited Shipping (Select Cities Only):
- In select major metropolitan areas, we may offer an expedited shipping option for an additional charge.
- Estimated Delivery Time: 1-3 business days from the date of dispatch.
- Availability will be displayed at checkout if your location is eligible.
3. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated based on the order value, product weight, and delivery location.
- The exact shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- Free Shipping: We may offer free standard shipping on orders above a certain value. Any such promotions will be clearly advertised on our website.
4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
- Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation Email containing your tracking number(s).
- You can track the status of your order by clicking on the tracking link provided in the email or by visiting the “Track Your Order” section on our website and entering your tracking number.
- Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active after you receive the shipment confirmation.
5. Delivery Attempts & Unsuccessful Delivery
- Our courier partners will typically attempt delivery 2-3 times.
- If you are unavailable to receive the order, the courier service may leave a notification or attempt to contact you.
- In case of repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts or if the customer is unreachable, the order may be returned to us. In such cases, we reserve the right to deduct shipping charges and a re-stocking fee from any refund issued. For perishable items, a refund may not be possible if the product becomes unsellable due to delivery issues beyond our control.
6. Damages & Issues (Perishable Goods Specific)
- At Ovifresh, we take utmost care in packaging our products. However, in the rare event that your order arrives damaged, rotten, or in a condition unfit for consumption, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours of delivery) at [Your Customer Service Email] or [Your Customer Service Phone Number].
- To help us resolve the issue efficiently, please provide:
- Your order number.
- Clear photographs or a video of the damaged/defective product and its packaging.
- Upon verification, we will be happy to offer a free replacement or a full refund, depending on the nature of the damage and product availability.
- Taste/Preference: Please note that we do not accept returns or offer refunds based on personal taste or preference for perishable items.
- Minor Dents/Scratches: Minor dents or scratches on outer packaging that do not affect the quality or integrity of the product inside are generally not considered grounds for return or refund.
7. Returns & Refunds
- Given the nature of our fresh and perishable products, we generally do not accept returns unless the product is damaged, defective, or not as described upon delivery.
- For non-perishable items (if applicable on Ovifresh), our standard return policy will apply. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for detailed information.
- Refunds for eligible cases will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after the issue is resolved and approved by Ovifresh. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, our customer service team will contact you for your bank account details to process the refund.
8. Order Cancellation
- You may cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been dispatched. To cancel an order, please contact our customer service immediately.
- Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
9. Changes to Shipping Policy
- Ovifresh reserves the right to update or modify this shipping policy at any time without prior notice. The updated policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
